WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking On a World of Words. It’s a meme that takes place every Wednesday, where the posters discuss 3 Ws:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?

📚 Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix – Still making progress with this re-read. I’m just trying to savour every moment right now, but I am itching to get into Half-Blood Prince!
Matilda by Roald Dahl – I’m now trying to get through some children’s books that I didn’t read as a kid and this book was at the top of my list!
📚 Sherwood by Meagan Spooner – Still plugging away at this one!
📚 Waiting for the Night Song by Julie Carrick Dalton – I’m only a few pages in and I’m already blown away by the writing styles, the characters, the plot… Basically everything. I’m excited to see where this one goes!

📚 Lana’s War by Anita Abriel – I read The Light After the War by Abriel last year and it was very disappointing. I was a bit weary going into this one, but I was surprised. I have a full review for this book coming out in a few weeks, so stay tuned to hear my thoughts!

Not sure yet. It will depend on if I finish a physical book or an e-book.
Let me know if you’ve read any of these books, or they’re on your TBR!
I’m hoping to read all the Harry Potter in English at some point. I was young when they were released and grew up with the French version, so it is weird for me to dive in with the original 🙂

I wonder if reading them in English will change the way you remember them in French. I can only imagine how weird it would be to read them in another language after so many years.

I’m still not over how hogwarts is Poudlard in French 🤣 some things are seared in your heart so you can’t enjoy them the same way in a different language.

That’s actually amazing!! It sounds so much better than Hogwarts to be honest!
