WWW Wednesday//September 1, 2021

Finally getting back into doing more consistent posts! I’ll have an “Outside the Blog” post coming out soon which will detail all the exciting news in my life that’s happened this summer!

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking On a World of Words. It’s a meme that takes place every Wednesday, where the posters discuss 3 Ws:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

📚 The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien – I read this book back in Grade 4/5 and I do NOT remember any of it. I remember reading the Hobbit around that time fairly clearly. I’m reading about a chapter a night and just taking my time with it.

📚 Lost at Sea by Erica Boyce – I’m trying to clear out my Kindle which is loaded with so many eARCs from NetGalley, and this book is one of them. I’m hoping to finish this one in a few sittings on the train while I commute to and from work.

I haven’t really read a whole lot since my last WWW Wednesday back in June.

📚 The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien – I don’t have any memories of reading this book in Grade 4, I just remember that I spilled juice on my book and now I can’t find that copy…

📚 The Girls Are All So Nice Here by Laurie Elizabeth Flynn – I read this on my commute to and from work… I was hooked right away and loved it so much, the cattiness of girls and how they act around each other was so spot on.

📚 We Have Always Been Here by Samra Habib – This was 2020’s Canada Reads winner, and it was so good. I’m normally not a fan of memoirs/non-fiction, but this was the exception.

📚 The Last Thing to Burn by Will Dean – I… I have no words. I’m still reeling from this one as I finished it last night.

📚 Hench by Natalie Zina Walschots – I gotta continue my reading of Canadian authors!

📚 The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien – I gotta finish the series right?

What’s are you reading?
