WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking On a World of Words. It’s a meme that takes place every Wednesday, where the posters discuss 3 Ws:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?

📚 A Dark and Hollow Star by Ashley Shuttleworth – I requested to review this book for MuggleNet and so far I’m liking it! It’s very dense and has a lot of world-building so I’m eager to get into the action!
📚 A Chorus Rises by B.C. Morrow – I got an advanced eARC of this book from NetGalley! I loved A Song Below Water which was released last year. I’m about 20% of the way in and loving this one too. There’s something magical about Morrow’s writing!
📚 The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner – I fell into the hype of this book back in August for my marketing class… I’m really struggling to read this one because I’m burnt out on historical fiction novels.

📚 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – I forgot so much in this book! I also apparently wrote and underlined certain pages? (It was only about five pages, but I do not remember doing this!) It’s bittersweet that my re-read of this series is over, I feel like I got a different perspective this time around reading these books as an adult.
📚 The Paris Library by – This was disappointing. I was… nothing happened in this book?! I don’t even know, I’m full of disappointment.

I also got an e-ARC of A Chorus Rises. I didn’t realize it was the sequel to a Song Below Water until I got approved LOL

That happens to me all the time!! You will need to read A Song Below Water before you read A Chorus Rises or you’ll be so confused!

I am wanting to pick up Dark and Hollow Star and I’m glad you are enjoying it. I chose Lost Apothecary as my Book of the Month pick. I’m sorry you are struggling with it and makes me nervous for when I pick it up.

Don’t be nervous about reading it! I had it hyped up for me this past summer and I was so excited about it. I’m just really burnt out from reading this genre. I know others have loved it so much.

I can see how that can happen! I am hoping to get to it this month bc I try so hard to not have my book of the month picks pile up. I’ve been doing good so far! Haha

I am listening to all the Harry Potter books on Audible at the moment. I’m up to Goblet of Fire and I am actually amazed at how much I had forgotten as well! I’m excited to read The Lost Apothecary, sorry you are feeling burnt out on the genre though! I thought The Paris Library looked really good too so its a shame you didn’t end up liking it! I hope your next reads are better 🙂

I have never listened to the Harry Potter books before! I think when I do my next re-read in 10 years I’ll give that a shot since all my copies are so well-loved. I think I just need to take a long break from historical fiction, and that my burnout may actually be affecting my reviews of the books in that genre.
