WWW Wednesday//December 23

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking On a World of Words. It’s a meme that takes place every Wednesday, where the posters discuss 3 Ws:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

📚 Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire – I’ve managed to read a few pages before I got busy baking for the holidays!

📚 What if It’s Us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera – The pop culture references are getting to be a bit much, but overall I’m enjoying it.

📚 Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds – I don’t know why I waited so long to read this one. I really enjoyed it even though I’m not a huge fan of reading books in verse, this one just hit different. I’m looking forward to reading more of his books.

📚 Let it Snow by Maureen Johnson, John Green, and Lauren Myracle – My favourite story was the first one, the other two were okay. The last one I did not like at all – the best part was the pig. This one got me into the Christmas/holiday spirit though!

📚 Matched by Ally Condie – I’m not a huge fan of this book, I thought it would get better but it felt really one-dimensional to me. The characters need more development but I’ll keep going with the series.

📚 S.T.A.G.S by M.A. Bennett – This one let me down. High school/University Kaitlyn would have loved this one, but adult Kaitlyn wasn’t a huge fan. It has a lot of potential, but ultimately fell felt for me. I won’t be continuing with the rest of the books in this series.

📚 Not 100% sure what I’ll be reading next. I’m trying to finish up any leftover books from this year before I move onto anything new. Although my library stack is quickly growing and not shrinking!
