Outside the Blog
This week has been filled with news about COVID-19. Schools are now closed for the next three weeks, and my college has decided to move all courses to be online until the end of the term. I spent most of Thursday watching CBC to keep up with all the information about COVID-19. I’m now trying to take a break from my social media feeds, especially my Twitter as I keep getting flooded with information. I’m trying to look at this from a positive perspective – I will be able to spend more time with my boyfriend as he’s now working remotely until further notice. I can finally get caught up on my reading and my huge TBR pile! I’m optimistic that since Canada is taking all the protective measures, this will be over soon.
Keep safe and practice that social distancing everyone!
Positivity is good, it’s so hard now with all the fast moving news and whatnot. Hope you stay safe and happy reading! 🙂

Thank you! I’m following the suggestions of staying inside and only leaving when absolutely necessary… And not stock piling on toilet paper! I hope you are also reading lots and staying safe.

I got very overwhelmed with all the news this past week. I try to spin it in a positive way so I won’t go crazy for three weeks being in my apartment.

Staying positive and diving into your book stack sounds like a great way to handle it all.

I’m glad you’re able to be optimistic about this situation. Twitter needs to learn how to do that. It’s like the apocalypse over there. I hope you have a great week!
