This was absolutely a “feel-good” novel. I found this book to be enjoyable. I’m not someone who is big on romance, and this book just oozed romance. It was the perfect book to read between heavier novels, both in pages and in content. I read this novel towards the end of summer while sitting outside on my dad’s back deck. I didn’t think there was anything special about this book; it didn’t leave a lasting impression like other books that I read during the summer did. The writing style was also too simplistic for me as was the descriptions in the book. I found myself comparing the book to the film more often than not while reading. In my opinion, the movie was much better than the book, probably because Ryan Gosling portrays Noah in the movie.
