Outside the Blog
I’ve had a busy couple of days. I’m currently applying for a new job – working a split shift is starting to really get to me. On Friday I had a job interview as a temporary clerical assistant with one of the school boards. I’m hoping that I get the job, it will be nice to have a stable 9-5 type of job.
This past week I’ve also paid my registration fee to the local college. Starting in January I’m starting my business diploma; I’ve had a dream that I want to own and operate my own resource centre for teachers and ECE (Early Childhood Educators). I’ve seen first hand how little prep time teacher’s have, and I want to be able to give them their time back.
Yesterday my boyfriend had his work Christmas party. Both of us had a lovely time, the food was excellent and the venue was beautifully decorated. Unfortunately we’ve both been fighting head colds this past week so we left after the door prizes were announced. It was a fun night to get dressed up and enjoy some good company and food.
